While Box Lacrosse players are tearing up the NCAA and international play there has been little talk of the benefits of Box Lacrosse training for a field lacrosse goalie.
Chris Sanderson, the greatest lacrosse goalie of all-time, career should be noted. A Canadian Box goalie recruited to UVA where he led the Cavilers to 2 National Championship appearances. Chris was also selected as All World Goaltender for an unprecedented 3 World Cups spanning 2 decades.
US Box Lacrosse Academy is primarily a Skills Camp for Forwards, Transition players and Defensemen, however, we do offer limited ‘goaltender specific’ Instruction. Goalies are an important component at all of our Skills Camps and are 50% off regular registration rates.
